WINEMAKER NOTES:  We pursue our favorite wine styles which vary from vintage to vintage based on what Mother Nature provides us from our Estate Vineyards in Columbia Valley AVA.  All of our wines are fermented by native yeast with extended maturation in concrete and French oak. Secret Squirrel is privately owned and personally made by people that truly love wine. One taste and you’ll want to squirrel some away for yourself.

TASTING NOTES:  Aromas of spruce tips and plum are complemented by notes of peppercorn, umami, spearmint, and star anise. The wine is elegant and supple in texture, offering dark, juicy flavors of olive, licorice root, and black currant. Tight and focused on the entry, the flavors develop energetically, highlighting a dusty profile with dark fruit accents. Soft tannins gradually build to a long well-rounded finish.

VARIETALS:  60% Syrah, 21% Mourvèdre, 19% Grenache
