Peju Province Winery 2019 Cabernet Franc Napa Valley

In 1983, Tony and Herta (HB) Peju purchased thirty acres of vines in the famed Rutherford district of Napa Valley. They worked hard to build a winery, plant estate vineyards, and raise their family. PEJU remains family-owned with Tony and HB’s two daughters Ariana and Lisa guiding the business today. Ariana and Lisa are bringing fresh innovation while maintaining the meticulous focus on quality that began over 35 years ago. With its landmark tower and warm hospitality, PEJU Winery is an integral part of the Napa Valley landscape.

We know great wines are made in the vineyard. This is why we own and farm six estate vineyards located throughout the Napa Valley. We are committed to farming sustainably and naturally to preserve these properties for the long term. Our Rutherford vineyard has been certified Organic since 2007 and all six of our estate vineyards are certified Fish Friendly Farming. Our 2019 Cabernet Franc features fruit from three of our six estate vineyards.

TASTING NOTES:

This wine is full of elegance and grace. The smooth round entry is filled with a mosaic of fruit and spice notes, displaying flavors of dark cherry, brambleberry, dried savory herbs, allspice, and vanilla. Complete with complex layers and structured tannins, the finish is gorgeous. It is a beautiful rendition of Cabernet Franc.
