Winemaking
This limited production Rosé is crafted from whole-cluster pressed Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Zinfandel. Inspired by the dry Rosés of Provence, with a focus on delicacy, acid balance, and aromatics. Minimal skin contact (approximately 4 hours) to achieve the wine’s signature pale, sunset-pink hue. Cold fermentation in stainless steel to preserve freshness and floral lift.
Tasting Notes
The Coucher de Soleil Estate Rosé captures the elegance and vibrancy of Provence while expressing the unique character of Napa Valley. On the palate, the wine is refreshing yet texturally rich, bright acidity balanced by a supple silky mouthfeel. Flavors of strawberry, stone fruit, and citrus zest lead into a crisp, mineral-driven finish. Dry, refined, and food-friendly, this Rosé pairs
effortlessly with a wide range of cuisine.
Vineyard Notes
Sourced entirely from our estate vineyard in Calistoga, the fruit for this Rosé is intentionally picked early for freshness, capturing vibrant acidity and aromatic clarity.
