Meet Doug Filipponi

Doug Filipponi, a dedicated local winegrower and native of Paso Robles, manages all vineyard operations for Ancient Peaks Winery. Recognized as “Agriculturalist of the Year” in 2021, he was also honored as the “Wine Industry Person of the Year” by his peers at the 2006 California Mid State Fair in Paso Robles.

In addition to his role at Ancient Peaks, Doug is:

• The president of Filipponi & Thompson Drilling
• The current president of the Paso Robles Cab Collective
• A former president of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance
• A past chairman of the Paso Robles Wine Festival

Doug is also a co-owner of Margarita Vineyard along with Ancient Peaks Winery.
