VARIETAL: 58% Mourvèdre, 34% Syrah, 8% Grenache
TASTING NOTES: Forget the polo-field-sized pool and the bold-blackberry brass band. You’re here among the West Egg elite for one reason: Gatsby’s private stash. While the enigmatic mogul carouses with violet-sequined flappers and crème brûlée cabaret dancers, you’ve stolen away to the cellar. There, among the toasted rum barrels Jay may or may not have bootlegged, is the real flamboyance. Inky-cored opulence—resin-soaked boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the plum-jam past. You’re lost in it, and when you turn, there’s the man himself. Your move, old sport.

The Vice Maverick Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Reviews (0)
BATCH #135 “Maverick”: “150 years ago, dreamers, perfectionists and visionary vintners arrived in Oakville where the perfect elements converse for growing some of the finest grapes. Today Oakville is synonym to the World Best Cabernets; and as a young vintner in Napa, it is my obligation and honor to pursue the legacy and excellence of my predecessors.” -Malek Amrani
Vineyard: Our vineyard is referred to it as a “ranch” and it is located on the eastern end of Oakville Cross Road. A stone-throw from Dalle Valle and a short stride from Screaming Eagle, the soils here transition from volcanic red clay to brown gravelly loam offering exceptionally good drainage. The vines produce small berries with deep concentration.
2021 Vintage: The 2021 growing season started off with very little rain and continued to be a record year of drought. The result was also a record low yields and intensely- flavored, small sized berries. It was luckily a smooth and uneventful harvest season.
Tasting Notes: Expressive with Acai, fresh grinded coffee beans and cacao notes leaping out; while the core of cassis and plum puree glides along steadily. Supple in feel and velvety with layers of fine tobacco and vanilla that continue to build throughout the long finish. Decant for an early reward or cellar until 2040.
• 100% Unfiltered & Un-fined Cabernet Sauvignon
• 14.8% alc/volume
• 24 months in all New French Oak barrels
• 1200 cases crafted.

Vineyard:
The grapes are sourced from our estate vineyards on the Silverado Trail in Calistoga, Napa Valley. The Calistoga AVA is the 15th AVA to be approved within the greater Napa Valley appellation.
Calistoga's qualifications as an outstanding winemaking area were established when winemaking began shortly after the town was founded in 1857. The AVA is located at the northern end of the Napa Valley at the foot of Mount St. Helena where it has been blessed with a unique micro-climate and deep volcanic soils perfectly suited to vineyards. The growing season is warm to hot, depending upon the time of year; summer temperatures peak to 90'F (32.2"C) and fall to low 50s'F (11'C), the result of marine air from the northwest producing cool afternoon and evening breezes. The soils are almost completely of volcanic origin, soils range from rocky, stony loam on the hillsides, to gravelly or cobbly loams on the alluvial fans, to heavier clay-silt soils in the valley center areas.
Winemaking and Gellar Practices:
The grapes were hand-picked, in small lots, at the peak of ripeness, destemmed, cold soaked, fermented to dryness and gently pressed. The wine was then aged in a combination of 30% new
French and 70o/o neutral oak barrels.
Characteristics:
Italian immigrants from Tuscany probably introduced the Sangiovese grape to California in the late
J.800s. Sanguis Jovis, the Latin origin for the varietal name, literally means ,'blood of Jove,, and it is likely that sangiovese (aka sangioveto or san Gioveto) was known by Etruscan winemakers, although the first literary reference to it was in L722.lt is probably indigenous to tuscany, whose most famous wine is Chianti. Sangiovese wine varies greatly with the terroir of the vineyard. Our sangiovese comes from our estate vineyard in Calistoga and greatly benefits from the long hot growing season, producing ripe flavorful grapes. This wine is a favorite in our tasting room. The 2017 is 5% cabernet sauvignon, 95% sangiovese, medium bodied, with notes of cherry plum and vanilla, balanced acidity, smooth tannins and a lingering finish. one of the classic pairings in ltalian cuisine is tomato- based pasta and pizza sauces with sangiovese. we enjoy ours with rare steaks, roasted game birds, rich chicken and mushroom dishes.

Optima Miyah White Blend 2023
Reviews (0)
From the winery: The 2023 vintage was produced from fruit grown on the western bench of Dry Creek Valley, 200 feet above the valley floor. The vineyard benefits from cool, foggy mornings and warm days. The significant temperature difference between day and night extends the growing season, fostering slow grape maturation and intense flavor development.
Winemaking: Hand-harvested on August 28, 2023 at 24 degrees brix, the fruit for the 2023 vintage in Dry Creek Valley was gently whole cluster pressed separately. The juice was carefully transferred to a stainless steel tank to chill and allowed to settle for 48 hours, achieving optimal clarification. Following this, the wine was transferred to stainless steel for aging. After fermentation, the wines were expertly blended to create a perfectly balanced white blend.
Tasting Notes: Named in honor of our oldest granddaughter Miyah, now 8 years old, this distinctive blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Picpoul captivates with an enchanting medley of crisp citrus and tropical fruit aromas. Bright floral notes, lemon meringue, pear, and stone fruits dance on the palate, creating a harmonious symphony of flavors. The Picpoul contributes a subtle richness and complexity, while the blend's zesty backbone of acidity unveils a refreshing brightness on the finish.
Appellation: Dry Creek Valley

Pedroncelli 2022 Sonoma Classico Red Blend

From the winery:
SONOMA CLASSICO: THE STANDARD BY WHICH ALL OTHERS ARE MEASURED
Definition of a classic: judged over a while to be of the highest quality and an outstanding example. Sonoma County's classic roots are in those early blends ranging from "Burgundy", "Claret"
and "Mountain Red" to today's high-end "Red Wine Blends". These wines have been a regular part of Sonoma County's heritage. Sonoma Classico is the next step in the evolution of these blends. The classic style invites you to gather around the table as it becomes part of the meal, not the centerpiece. It is the sharing of this wine with family and friends that defines
it as a standard.
THE VINEYARD & CELLAR NOTES
The vintage of 2022 was influenced by low amounts of rain due to drought and was followed by a warm summer and warmer harvest which sped up maturity while concentrating flavors and color. Harvest was early and the different estate vineyard blocks were picked over the first two weeks of September. A rich wine with intense aromatics, varietal flavors, and mild acidity is the result. Barrel aging took place over 12 months in new and seasoned American oak barrels with 30% new oak. Working toward an approachable style, the time in oak softens the wine and adds complex layers to the finished product. The oak influence is nuanced and a supporting player because of the judicious use of new oak blended with neutral barrels.
TASTING NOTES
From the fruit-forward aromas to the lingering flavors, Sonoma Classico blends the characteristics of each grape seamlessly: red fruits with a touch of warm cooking spices; plum, spice, and dark berries with smooth tannins and light toast notes. Rich and velvety, this is a medium-bodied blend with a rounded and lingering finish.
APPELLATION: Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County
COMPOSITION: A proprietary blend of Merlot, Syrah, Sangiovese, Tinta Madeira and Souzao

RoseRock 2023 Pinot Noir

From the Winery:
ABOUT DROUHIN OREGON ROSEROCK
Roserock is an extraordinary vineyard at the southern tip of the Eola-Amity Hills, in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Ancient volcanic soils, an ideal elevation range, and the unique cooling effect of the Van Duzer corridor produce classic cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Roserock is LIVE-certified sustainable.
ABOUT OUR EOLA-AMITY HILLS PINOT NOIR
Our Roserock Pinot Noir is a cuvee selection from the estate's 35 Pinot Noir blocks, which are handpicked, sorted and individually fermented. While Pinot Noirs from the Eola-Amity Hills are typically known for their structure and power, Veronique Boss-Drouhin emphasizes Roserock's elegant and refined qualities, making for a delicious and age-worthy cuvée.
THE 2023 VINTAGE
In 2023, budbreak was unusually late, starting on April 30. Next came an unexpected heat surge and minimal rainfall, a lasting pattern which compressed the period from budbreak to bloom to less than 45 days (a record)! Our vineyards adapted well to these surprises, and when harvest started on September, the fruit looked great. Towards the end of the month, we saw some significant rains. The overall harvest concluded on October 5.
VÉRONIQUE'S TASTING NOTES
Our 2023 Roserock Pinot Noir radiates warmth and energy within its bright ruby hue. The nose is alive with vibrant tart cherry and orange-cranberry notes, balanced by an earthy undertone. Cascading dark fruits unfold on the palate, accented by hints of baking spice, stone, and delicate floral notes. Structured and refined, this Pinot Noir is a delight now and will continue to
gain depth and complexity over the next 8-12 years.

Throughout his career Andre Mack has forged unique relationships with luminary growers and winemakers from around the planet. It is with this prestigious group that Mack currently creates his wines. In Sheep's Clothing Pinot Noir has vibrant acidity, expressive fruit flavors, and a refined balance of structure and elegance.

Segla 2015 Margaux

W I N E D E S C R I P T I O N
About half of the 52 hectares of vineyard are around the château, but there are additional parcels near Margaux and Brane-Cantenac. The plantings are comprised of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc with an average vine age of 30 years and a yield of 32 hl/ha. Soils at Rauzan-Ségla are composed of deep, fine gravel which makes for natural irrigation. After hand harvesting and a double sorting, the fruit is gently crushed and then delivered to stainless tanks by gravity-flow where the fermentation begins. Alcoholic fermentation in lasted eight days with pump overs two or three times a day. Malolactic fermentation mostly occurred in vat, but a few wines were done in barrel. The wine was aged in 20% new French oak barrels.

Pio Cesare Piedmonte Barolo
Reviews (0)
Overview: The Pio Cesare family’s unique winemaking method stresses minimal intervention to produce wines of particularly supple flavor expression. A ceaseless devotion to the individuality of each of the region’s wines informs Pio Cesare's choices in the cellar: shorter maceration, separate lot fermentation, judicious selection for barrel and large cask aging, and bottling schedules determined by the ideal structure of each wine. This allows Pio Cesare to craft wines of varying weight, age ability and drinkability as determined by the vineyard rather than market fashion.
This Barolo is produced using the classic “formula” of traditional Barolo families: a wine which embraces and combines each of the unique characteristics of the different terroirs of the appellation, sourcing grapes from the family's multiple vineyards in different communes.
Winemaking: The grapes are sourced from family-owned vineyards in Serralunga d’Alba (Ornato, la Serra, la Briccolina, Lirano), Grinzane Cavour (Gustava, Garretti), La Morra (Roncaglie), Novello (Ravera), and Monforte d’Alba (Mosconi). Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, with skin contact for about 30 days. The wine is aged in mid-toasted French oak for three years: 70 percent in 20 to 50 hectoliter casks; 30 percent in barriques.
Tasting Notes: A traditional vintage delivering fresh fruits and beautiful aromas, with great structure and complexity, intense color and a balanced acidity, already approachable with its gentle tannins—all the classic components of the great vintages of Barolo.
Harvest Notes: 2020 has been a remarkably high-quality vintage and our vineyards turned out to be, in such a difficult and challenging year with the explosion of COVID-19, ideal examples of resilience and of the impressive force of Mother Nature, so cruel with human beings yet so full of mercy with the vines. Green harvesting—which kept us busy for almost one whole month, from the end of July to the end of August—was fundamental in 2020: the results of this practice are grapes with more concentration, depth, lower acidity, better phenological ripening and less green tannins. We are very much in love with the intense red fruit of the 2020 vintage—still very young but already very drinkable—rich and complex on the nose with a great depth especially in the
Barolos.
The delicate use of the oak is very well integrated with the gentle tannins, the aromas and the acidity creating a harmonious balance, especially in the Barbarescos. A superb high-quality and accessible vintage which will as well reveal the great ageing potential of Nebbiolo.
100% Nebbiolo
