Description
Dancing Hares is a Napa Valley Wine using Bordeaux varietals from Tuck Beckstoffer Estate (formerly Dancing Hares Winery) at the base of Howell Mountain in the St. Helena AVA. The vineyard was planted in 2000 on rocky, porous soils. The vines are cane pruned and yield four tons per acre.
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Merlot, the 2017 Dancing Hares overflows with notes of plum preserve, creme de cassis, and spice box. Velvet on the palette, the wine evolves into deep flavors of warm licorice, black fruits, and olive tapenade. Silky, smooth with long and full finish.
