Description
WINEMAKER NOTES:
For 100 years, across five generations, one true vision has endured: To create a lasting winegrowing and winemaking legacy anchored in respect for our land, passion for our craft and unquestionable integrity in all we do. At Varozza Vineyards, we see the calluses on our hands, the mud on our boots, the gentle lines across our foreheads as badges of honor, in deference to those who came before us, and those who will follow. One hundred years, 5 generations, one bloodline.
TASTING NOTES:
The 2018 Cabernet franc is a very vibrant, perfumed wine with notes of violet, milk chocolate and blueberry on the nose. The palate is bright and lively with flavors of crushed black currant, Swiss chocolate and grilled herbs with medium weight tannins. It would pair well with pork, duck, mushroom and sausages and will age well in the cellar for 10-15 years.
