WINEMAKER NOTES:

The Hendry family has been farming the same vineyard in Napa since 1939. Through more than eighty years of harvests, their connection to the land has deepened, and the knowledge has grown. The Hendry Ranch is composed of 203 acres situated in the hills north west of Napa, which include 114 acres of vineyard. This latitude and location in the valley experiences substantial marine influence, and allows the estate to grow 11 different varietals, each carefully distributed among the many vineyard blocks. All Hendry wines are made only from estate grapes, and are crafted to highlight the unique terroir of this very special vineyard. HRW is short for Hendry Ranch Wines.

TASTING NOTES:

Opaque, medium-ruby color, slight violet hue of a young wine – slightly lighter in body than our Hendry label Cabernet. Dark berries, smoke and grape skins on the nose. The palate offers tangy blackcurrant, dark berries and cocoa. Medium-bodied. Firm tannins. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Pair with burgers on the grill, steaks, chops. A tasty, versatile, go-to Cabernet Sauvignon for everyday drinking.
